Carmen brings a relaxed, grounded approach to design, with a special love for texture—both visual and tactile—that adds warmth and depth to every space. Originally from Houston, she made the move to Portland in 2020, where she pursued a certification in interior design and continued to nurture her lifelong appreciation for interiors, especially textiles. Growing up surrounded by craftspeople, she developed an eye for the details that make a space feel layered and personal.

When she’s not designing, you’ll likely find her out on a long walk with her husband and their basset hound, Louie, or dreaming up her next trip to the coast—or wherever curiosity leads her next.
